The quality management system for product and service supply organizations for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries is defined by ISO/ 29001. In this regard, certification is based on a technical specification published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) titled “Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries — Sector-specific quality management systems — Requirements for product and service supply organizations”. The technical specification includes ISO 9001 in its entirety.
This certification is specified to organizations involved in exploration, production, pipelines and transport, refining of petroleum and natural gas and those that provide technical and support services to these industries as well as manufacturers and purchasers of oil and gas industry equipment.
